Nippon Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)

Nippon Ordinary Portland Cement is the premium brand of cement manufactured by Tokyo Cement Company. Formerly under the Mitsui trademark, it is the first category of cement to receive the SLS: 107 certification in Sri Lanka for quality excellence.

Widely used in general and mega construction projects and in pre-cast concrete product manufacture, Nippon is ideal for construction in tropical climates; with the superfine particles in Nippon OPC providing a luxuriantly smooth finish, Nippon OPC is easy to disperse, compatible with admixtures, enhances the integrity of concrete, and strongly binds steel in reinforced concrete.
