Providing Homes and Meals

Uplifting and supporting communities, particularly when the need is greatest, underscores CSR at Tokyo Cement.

In the wake of the Boxing Day tsunami in December 2004, we reached out to affected communities, building 25 homes and a community centre in Trincomalee. We hope to extend this contribution by an additional 25 homes in the near future.

We further seek to better the quality of life in our communities by contributing to better child nutritional levels through the provision of midday meals to school children in the Trincomalee, Lewla, Gurudeniya and Bandaragama areas.
